Dedicated to my horse Baby who passed away many years ago, and who was and still is my best friend!

Let me tell you a story from way back when...
Once upon a time there was a young high school girl who was lonely and unhappy with a move her parents decided to make. She was a freshman in high school and all her friends were where she wasn't. Her parents moved to the most God-forsaken place in South Texas - Falfurrias, Texas. A long distance from all that was familiar with her and far from most of her friends. She was lonely and unhappy.
Then one day, her step-father (who did the only good thing she could remember) presented her with a beautiful quarter horse. She took one look at this horse and cried and cried for joy! It was love at first sight for both of them.
As the years went by, she took care of Baby 100% of the time. Knowing nothing about how to take care of a horse - she only knew how to love and used her intuition for the rest. The relationship between the two grew and grew. Baby was a rescue horse - a horse that had been abused by her owner who used her as a barrel racer. Baby no longer did that and became that young girl's friend for life!
They rode the 100 acres freely - sometimes with saddle but mostly bare back. Baby heard all of the young girl's stories — she was her confidant. She carefully guided her through the trails where rattle snakes were often seen. Baby protected her in every way. She even put up with her singing.
Then one day, the girl graduated from high school and went to college. At that time she had no interest in college. So she went into the airline industry. Her parents sold the farm and Baby was part of the package. Baby died of a broken heart and Karin never, ever forgot her.
Skip ahead to many, many years later... One day she discovered a beautiful horse near her house in New Yor. She began to giving apples to this horse. As time went on, she found out more about these strange looking horses. She thought they were a cross between the Clydesdale and the Pinto. As she was getting to know these horses, the vibartional energy of Baby was there for her.
Baby stayed with her for months - encouraging her to find out more about these horses and to get back into her passion.
That is exactly what she did. And now her dream has been rekindled.
LadyGrace was born on May 16, 2008. Baby completed her purpose - which was to bring Karin back to a passion that she never forgot.
We all have passions from our childhood and our early adulthood which we wish we could tap back into.
I am here to tell you that you CAN reconnect with your passion. You CAN reach for that dream for I AM that person that loved Baby so much.

The following is some very sad information about LadyGrace.
Sadly, LadyGrace was born with a genetic issue in both her hind legs.
She has Osteochondrisis which will cause lamness for the rest of her life unless she has surgery. And even then, she may still not be totally sound.
For detailed information about Osteochondrisis (OCD) including recorded interviewswith Dr. Michael Ross, a well known Equine Orthopedic Surgeon, please go to the Osteochondrisis page.
She also has a bone chip in her stifle area that is floating around since she was 4 days old.
This was caused by a fall while under the contractual care of the breeder.
We are waiting for the bone chip to attach to the bone through mineralization. This is a positive possibility.
I will be glad to answer any questions you may have as to breeder, breeding, and history.
All information regarding LadyGrace is open to the public information!
Dam = Magic a Founderh orse (which means there is no background information is available) under the guidelines of a Registered Gypsy Vanner (GVHS)
Sir = Babes - A True Registered Gypsy Vanner (GVHS)
Because LadyGrace is now a carrier of the defective gene, I will not be able to breed her.
Remember to find out as much as you can about the horse family history AND about the breeders of any animal you plan to purchase. I didn't do my homework and would like save others from my mistakes.
LadyGrace's 1/2 brother is Lordi (Lord of Marlborough) - also registered with the GVHS.
Her 1/2 sister is Shalee's Bevin.
